Proposal on new features for Friendster®
In today’s technologically advanced society, many people patronize social networking sites on the Internet. This has resulted in fierce competition between more popular ones such as MySpace©, Facebook, LiveJournal™ and not forgetting Friendster®. To stay ahead, Friendster has to strive for further improvements and advancements for its site. Thus, we would like to propose to you a few interesting and novel ideas to increase the traffic at your site.
To begin with, we would like to suggest the implementation of a photo-editing feature on Friendster®. Through our observations, many people upload their photographs onto their homepages. Nowadays, people spend most of their time in front of the computer and hence, they would feel more comfortable expressing themselves in IT designing and personalizing their photographs. This enables users to display their creativity, rather than scribbling with mere crayons on a cut-out photograph. We understand that there is a new feature, Adobe® Photoshop, which allows people to edit their photos. This feature, although frequently used by many, is inconvenient for Friendster® users because they cannot edit and upload photos on the same webpage. Therefore, we feel that this feature is both handy and convenient and we appeal to you to include this on the site.
Another idea that we have is to enable members to send out greeting cards. This interactive function enables users to send out animated greeting cards to one another. This would be a fun, and not to mention, all-purpose and appealing way for people to keep in touch with one another. Such cards are creative means of communication which would be widely received by the masses, especially the young. We suggest a wide variety of cards that have animation to entice people of all ages. People can thus offer their well wishes or even condolences. Other than this, people can also get their hands on and design or personalize their cards. As an additional bonus, these cards should be catered free of charge. It will definitely increase user satisfaction and subsequently the number of hits at Friendster®.
Lastly, we propose a common space for users to efficiently share files on Friendster®. This file-sharing feature would provide them with an avenue for them to interact with one another, and also discover people with similar interests. New friendships can be forged in this way as well. Users may also choose to display their information on their profile pages and make them visible to more users. The files shared could include beauty tips or cooking recipes. Through this, users would be able to connect with and understand their fellow Friendster® users, strengthening bonds and establishing friendships across the globe.
In conclusion, we feel that with these new features added to Friendster®, it would definitely become more user-friendly, innovative, and popular among the masses. Many advantages can be gained from these additions, and thus, we strongly encourage you and your team to include these features in Friendster®. Thank you.

we find that the proposal can be more interesting by injecting more humour.
but it's a formal letter! so injecting humour might be kinda tough...?
