Proposal on introducing new features for Frienster

Friendster has been around for over half a decade and has enjoyed years of dedicated users and popularity among many countries. Although it is extremely predominant in Asian countries, especially Singapore and Philipines, there is still plenty of room for improvement to catch up with newcomers such as Facebook and Multiply. Thus, to connect with an ever-changing and modernizing target audience, the youths and young adults of today, Friendster needs to update itself with fresh interfaces and functions to re-carve out its name once again.

To begin with, we plan to introduce Friendster Cliques to enhance the realism of online social networking. Friendster Cliques groups people of the same interest together, such as fan club and even book clubs. They would have the option of creating their own bulletins or message boards as well as shared photo albums. Links to resources or file can also be uploaded. This feature can allow users more reasons to go online.

For our next idea, we want to have a special feature that categorizes friends to make searching for contacts easier and faster. This feature will allow users the option of categorizing friends on their contact lists into categories like "friends", "teachers" et cetra. Users will also be able to put up additional information or photos together with the names on the contact list. Through this feature, users will experience a more pleasant visit to Friendster. Searching for contacts will much much easier and users will not be put off by the extremely long list of unorganized contacts.

Another idea we would like to suggest is including a special feature which allows 'Friendster chat' and an online Friendster webcam and telephone system. This feature allows users belonging to the same clique to chat with each other and see each others' faces on the Internet. Through this function, people can chat with each other on the Friendster website and improve their friendships. This is also an incentive to draw users to Friendster as it is totally different from other websites.

In conclusion, thank you for taking time off to read our proposal. I hope that you will consider these ideas favourably.
