Proposal on enhancing the features of Friendster

Ever since the birth of friendster five years ago, it has been in high praises among the people as it had allowed a space for relaxation and somewhere to rest from the fast-paced society. Enormous efforts have been put in to improve the various areas. However, we still feel that there is room for improvements. Therefore, we would like to put forth a few suggestions for your consideration.

To begin with, multiplayer games would be appealing to people, regardless of age limit. Mind-challenging games such as chess, reverse, boggle and etc. They accommodate the inquisitive thoughts of teenagers and mind-provoking urge of adults. Not only it is fun, it too allows friends interact and bring each other closer. It is another way of knowing new friends better other than chatting, exchanging email or by purely looking at pictures. Most importantly, games reduce the nervousness on faces when first trying to make friends with others. With reduced tension, making friends would be easier and more relaxing. This encourages friendship regardless of nationality. Games are also stress-relieving and a good way to strike off a conversation with your new found friends as you do not need to rack your brains. Thus, we believe that by adding this new feature, making friends would never be difficult even for the quietest and most shy people in the world.

Nevertheless, Tutorial of HTML code would be strongly recommended. Everyone likes to dolls up and look pretty or handsome, who doesn’t? Not only that, people would want their profile to be viewed. In order for that to happen, it must first be pleasing to the eye. However, that could not be done without having basic HTML knowledge. If only friendster could provide a “help in html code” section with step-by-step tips to improve the outlook of profiles. Many members would be active and that would appeal to more people to join. Furthermore, they will find learning HTML codes beneficial in other websites, but they find it no lessons anywhere else as conducive as friendsters’ lessons. They will only be devoted ‘students’ of friendster and would explore other people’s profile. Through this exchange of knowledge, they could make more friends.

Thirdly, photo editing picture would be very attractive. Not all people have Photoshop, a graphic editing programme, which makes beautifying of picture a chore or rather a tiresome feat. It would be much easier if Friendster provides the tool bars for the users to decorate and design their own photos. It may consist of some photo frames and a wide-variety of icons that people could surf and choose from to personalize their own pictures. This would definitely make uploading photos enjoyable. Most importantly, members would find the time spent in friendster worthwhile when they see their masterpiece. These would strongly press them to introduce this “addictive” website to their friends.

All in all, we strongly urge to add on these features we have proposed. We look forward to your reply. Thank You for your kind attention.
