Proposal on new features for Friendster

Friendster is already an extremely popular website with many members. However, we feel that it can be further improved, thus, the reason for sending you this proposal. We wish to make Friendster an even better liked, interactive, user-friendly, and fun-to-use website.

In order to make Friendster an even more interactive site, Friendster can introduce the use of live webcams by members on their webpage, when they sign in.Currently, Friendster can only allow users to view each others’ pictures to know how they look like. However, with the use of live webcams, users would be allowed to see each other live. Moreover, this new feature of Friendster would enable members to communicate with each other without the hassle of leaving a testimonial. Therefore, this would make Friendster a more convenient and interactive website as it involves the members physically talking or communicating with someone else over the Internet.

To make Friendster a more fun-to-use website, games could be also included. The games available could be single-player or even multiplayer games. This would further provide more opportunities for members to interact with people they do not know and also create a platform for members to surpass being just ‘cyber-mates’ to being friends in real life. The types of games could be of different genres. For example, action, puzzles and sports. This would allow Friendster to be capable of catering to a wider range of people. The introduction of these games would definitely be able to entertain users while using Friendster.

Lastly, we have come up with an idea to make Friendster even more user-friendly. It is to enable Friendster to merge with other websites. Friendster could merge with various websites that are also popular among Internet users. Examples of the websites could be search engines like Google, email websites like Yahoo, Chat programmes(Msn) and even blogging websites. With the ability to merge with other websites, user would not need to open numerous windows to surf other websites. Users would thus be able to use Friendster and surf other websites at the same time and in the same window. This would also allow users to use features that are not available in Friendster and the features which they feel like using at that point of time. Therefore, this would make Friendster an even more user-friendly and diverse website, looking after the needs of people from all aspects of society.

In a nutshell, we sincerely feel that the introduction of these features would greatly benefit Friendster and increase its popularity among Internet users. We hope and strongly encourage you to approve and implement our ideas, as it would give Friendster an edge over other websites. Thank you.
