Proposal on new features for Friendster
Social networking businesses have been flourishing in recent years and the number of social networking websites had increased significantly. Therefore, Friendster is facing intense competition. In order to keep up its appeal and to secure its position as one of the most popular social networking sites, we hereby would like to propose 3 new features for Frienster.
To make Friendster friendlier and safer, we would like to introduce the implementation of anti-virus programmes into Friendster. The online world is a place full of hidden dangers. Surveys have shown that 7 out of 10 people had been infected by online viruses before and 1 of them got the virus from social networking websites. With anti-virus programmes installed into Friendster, users will be able to communicate with their friends in a secured and protected area. This will attract new members as everyone would surely want a hassle-free online experience and this feature is only exclusively at Friendster.
To add on, we think that adding multiplayer games to the Friendster interface is a good idea that would definitely catch a lot of attention. Playing computer games is a favourite pastime for many people. Thus it will arouse the interest of many if multiplayer games are available on Friendster. This will provide Friendster users with more interactive opportunities, other than just sharing blogs and videos with friends. Through playing multiplayer games, users can get to know more people and establish more friendships, even globally. Especially if the games require players to work in teams, friendships are more easily fostered and strengthened. Hence this attractive feature is highly recommended by us as it is a guaranteed boost to Friendster's popularity.
Not forgetting the last idea of all, introduction of a webcam feature. This will be a new change for those who are bored with just looking at the uploaded photos of their friends. A webcam feature will allow users to have personal interaction with each other, enhancing communication. It is indeed more interesting to see your friends 'live' instead of staring dully at their photos, thus attracting more users to Friendster..
To conclude, we strongly urged you to seriously consider our proposal as it will receive enthusiastic welcome by Friendster users and also, greatly beneficial to Friendster and its users. Hence, we look forward to your reply and hope that you would give us your approval. Thank You.
